TROMSØ VILLMARKSSENTER AS is one of the biggest activity companies in Norway, and is located on Kvaløya (the whale island) 25 minutes with car from Tromsø. We have 300 Alaskan huskies and offer dog sledding trips and northern lights safaris from 4 hours to 5 days in the winter time. In the summer we focus on the midnight sun with kayaking trips, glacier hikes, and mountains hikes. Our main focus is to offer a authentic wildlife experience for everyone.

History
Tromsø Villmarkssenter startet in 1990 with Tove Sørensen as owner and manager. In 1998 Tore Albrigtsen became part owner together with Tove Sørensen, and in 2006 Tromsø Villmarkssenter AS was founded. Tove Sørensen and Tore Albrigtsen has over 20 years experience with dog sledding and have competed 15 times in the europe longest dog sled race, Finnmarksløpet. In 2006 they participated in the world longest dog sled race in Alaska, The Iditarod.
