Join two of the most popular activities to do in Tromsø. Come dogsledding by day and head out in the evening to find the northern lights.

Leave from the city center and journey to Villmarkssenter, one of the leading dog sledding centers in Norway. With 300 Alaskan Huskies you’ll get time to meet them before heading out with a team of your own dogs.

Be sure to choose the right option if you want to drive the sled yourselves (see t&c’s before booking) otherwise an experienced guide will take you out (children must be accompanied by an adult).

After an enjoyable warm lunch, you’ll be taken back to town for you to explore the city or rest if you wish before leaving in the evening in search of the northern lights.

You’ll head out in a bus out away from the city lights to find the best spots to see the Northern Lights. This can change depending on the weather, so be prepared as it can mean a long journey.

You’ll be returned to the city center, where you can reflect after an amazing day.

The tour Aurora Tour starts from Northern Shots’ office at Kaigata 2A behind Radisson BLU Hotel.
Dogsledding starts from Radisson BLU Hotel, outside the reception.
