Follow us hiking into the wilderness with a joyful 4-legged partner by your side and spend the night glamping in our husky cabin!
Upon arrival at our center, you will receive rubber boots and rain clothes if necessary. Afterward, you will go and meet the dogs that are ready to take you on an adventure. Our dogs are professional athletes, and they are used to pull – be prepared for some exercise! However, we will bring one dog per two or three guests, so you will have the chance to swap with your colleague if it gets tiring. On the hike, you will have the chance to admire the beautiful arctic nature, immerse yourself in the moment and recharge your batteries getting a lot of husky cuddles.
After the hike, we will serve you a delicious lunch of Bacalao, a fish dish that is part of the traditional Norwegian cuisine, around an open fire in our Gamme-Hut. Then, you will be shown into our husky cabins where a husky friend (or two!) will be excited to meet you. Each cabin has a doghouse that allows you to interact with the dogs when you’re outside and watch them resting through a glass window when you’re inside.
Since you already know the terrain after the morning trip, you will have the chance to borrow the dog walking equipment and explore nature around further with your husky buddies that are going to spend the night at the cabin. That way you will have the chance to get to know them better before dinner that will be served at 18:00.
During dinner, you will have the chance to try Bidos – traditional Sami reindeer dish. Afterward, you are welcome to enjoy your evening either in or outside the cabin. Each cabin is equipped with SAMINA sleeping system that has been named world’s best bed. The mattress and duvets are filled with pure sheep wool will ensure your good nights sleep.
In the morning, you will be served breakfast in Gamme-hut and will have some time to say goodbye to your favorite dogs before the bus brings you back to town.
