This amazing cabin rental is located at Tromsø Villmarkssenter, 30 minutes drive from Tromsø city centre. It stands on the hillside just behind dog yard of 200 huskies that will be ready to share cuddles with you during daytime.
When you arrive, there will be a dog (or two) greeting you at the cabin. There is an integrated dog house and even if the dogs sleep outdoors, you can watch them through a glass window from the inside of the cabin. The cozy wooden interior boasts a large window that let in lots of natural light to illuminate the specific shape of the cabin and give guests the most magnificent views of Arctic coastal nature, mountains and Tromsø city far in the distance. The design by the architect Endre Hals is inspired by a husky lying resting, and the result is a unique sleeping cabin that can only be found at Tromsø Villmarkssenter.
The cabin accommodates two people. It is equipped with SAMINA sleeping system that has been named world’s best bed. The mattress and duvets are filled with pure sheep wool will ensure your good nights sleep. The restrooms are located 50 meters away from the cabins. Shower and cooking facilities are not available, but it’s possible to order breakfast for an additional cost.
