Our exclusive, magical and special overnight stay. Watch aurora dancing above your head right from your bed at our clamping cabin and wake up to the adventure of dog sledding.
After a short drive from Tromsø city, you will arrive at our center, where we will be greeted by the guide and introduced to your glamping cabin and the 4-legged buddy that will accompany you through the night. Afterward, we will equip you with thermal overalls and boots, so you stay warm and cozy while waiting outside for the lights to appear.
Then you will go on a guided tour of our dog yard, where you can meet and cuddle our 200 Alaskan huskies. For dinner, will serve Bacalao – a traditional Norwegian fish dish made from locally sourced cod.
The rest of the evening you can spend outside around a bonfire. As our center is away from Tromsø and city lights, the sky overhead is dark and very well suited for Aurora watching. We will give you a pair of snowshoes to borrow so you can wander away from the group if you feel like and enjoy the views in the snowy fields.
When you get tired, you can head to the glamping cabin and continue watching the sky right from your bed, through the window over your head. Each cabin is equipped with SAMINA sleeping system that has been named world’s best bed. The mattress and duvets are filled with pure sheep wool will ensure your good nights sleep.
The next morning, after a hearty breakfast, we will take you out for a dog sledding adventure! You can decide if you want to ride the sled as the passenger of one of our experienced guides, or if you want to drive it yourself (book ride or self-drive option accordingly).
When you come back from this adventure, a hot lunch of Bidos (Sami reindeer stew) will restore your strength before you say goodbye to our dogs and we will bring you back to Tromsø.
